Hello Earth Angel, 

How’s it going? Happy New Moon!

I am taking a wonderful contemporary dance class at the crack of dawn and it gently touches my soul. (Thankfully, my soul continues to win me over and overrides the thoughts that come into my mind about what I should or should not be doing).

I am learning a different form of dance. It’s Contemporary with ballet foundations!

The wonderful thing is that I’m stronger in my body than I was when I was a child.. AND I keep getting stronger in my mindset too :)

I love learning new things but when it comes down to a new form of dance as beautiful and peaceful as ballet and contemporary…I’m so over the moon, grateful and excited. There will be live music in every class.  Sometimes classical piano and sometimes African drums. How perfect is that? 

I feel like I need to pinch myself. I’ve lived in many places around the world where I didn’t have access to anything like this. And I’ve been in dark corners where I have been very unhappy. But today, at least for today, my inner-child was cradled as I looked at the ocean from such a beautiful dance studio in Santa Monica, Ca.

The piano music pierced my soul immediately.

My nervous system felt at ease with the first breath I took. We talked about being present and aligned in the mind, body, and soul. This intention is perfect for me. Being present isn’t always easy for me but today I literally felt my heart pump blood into my veins when we began class…facing the ocean! We closed our eyes, took deep breaths, and gently moved into the heartbeat of the piano. 

I felt like my inner-child was seriously cradled and nurtured.

I felt loved.

The sweetness of the piano was so calming and healing this morning and it was exactly what I needed. I didn’t get to meditate before class, so it was a great way for my soul to start the day like this. :)

Those feelings of learning something new are surfacing because you are passionate about what you want to do, and what you want out of life. So PLAY!

• Embrace not having all the answers.

• Chase after failure, because that’s where you’ll find success.

What you want IS possible. What you want CAN happen. You are Divine.
